=P
It kept me in shape I guess but I was pretty skinny regardless (like 130lbs at 18) with no real upper body strength, as hockey was more about your legs and technique. It really wasn't until my freshmen year in college that my dorm roommate at the time, convinced me to go to the gym with him. He was a pretty strong dude so I got worked pretty hard (no pun intended) my first time in a gym. After that I started to go regularly for the 3 years I lived on campus like 4 or 5 days a week and running also.
The most I've ever weighed was 160, and that was when I was eating a ton and going like 5 days a week. Right now I'm sitting at around 150 or so.
TLDR: Been active most of my life, didn't start to really work out till freshmen year in college.
I grew up not being very active at all so I actually used to be pretty chunky. JD, my ex, helped inspire me to work out at the gym and get in better shape to be a better person. I've actually been in the best shape of my life in my 30s.
Now I have a herniated disc that's slowed me down the past number of months again -.- Doing what I can to get better.
And ouch, that sounds rough D:
Sucks when an injury can hold ya back like that, hopefully something can be done about it :3
I just have to keep doing what I'm doing and try to get back to 100%. The good thing is that compared to before it is definitely better. Nerve pain on my hand was not cool, lol.
I was just doing so well before this too. That's what gets me the most. Grrr :3
just an fyi i had a whole camp of peeps eat bacon off my kosher ass and it was wonderfulllllllll
Only twice...
