Barring unexpected difficulties I'll be there with a group myself. But unexpected difficult seem to pop up a lot in my life.

I will say that last FC was probably one of the best weeks of my life. I was actually able to oen up, let loose, get crazy drunk and give no fucks in regards to room drama, ex drama and extra drama. I'd recommend it personally, but you have viable reasons I'm sure.

Regardless, if you DO go, make sure you hit me up, yeah?

I went to nocturnal alone, so it doesn't bother me. But idk. We'll see.

A great con, it is. But, sleeping in the car? If you can budget it, you probably should consider getting an advanced rental at a remote motel. After all, driving out of the city to avoid that parking mofia dominance makes a remote motel all the more worthwhile. Especially, if you go to Hotel.com and find a reasonably located place that DOESN'T have nightly visits by the cops or the cockroaches. Getting a good night sleep can counter for that feared breakdown, after all. Highly recommended. For that fact, planning to travel via that light rail system would be a bargain. However, I took one look at the maps and couldn't make heads or tails of what went where. I do believe the motel I was considering had repeated reviews of constant quiet, no hookers and a great rate that went for under $50 a night. Rail was relatively nearby. But, it was over 30 miles from the con.

I dunno. Its one of the reasons that makes me not wanna go.

One of my reasons for doing fur cons is that they are super cheap and simple vacations. FC has become so NOT cheap. Between gas/parking/distance and more, I've decided to skip out on the 2013 con. We'll see if I can take missing out on 2014. (If we do see 2014...)

Hey, look! There's yet another fur con about. A banner has been popping up for a Reno, Nevada con. Could be dirt cheap and cozy. (Though, not for me. Distance says $250+ in fuel, needed.) They're just springing up, all over the place.

Califur is definitely on my short list of plans for 2013. Wish Anteria would return. But, I can see how it became too expensive and/or a headache for the '2' man.
