So, what is it with people...
You start talking to some people, everythign is great you're gettign along fine, talk over several days or weeks, seeing them almsot daily,,,then the next thign you know they are "offline" for a month no word, no sign anythign is wrong, they are just, gone, right in the middle of a conversation somtimes.
What is that? Am I really suposed to beleive that they just haven't had time to sign on, oro that they are having an internet or technology issue? Do some people just really not go on the internet randomly for months on end??
Or is it more likely that i said or did somthing or they changed their mind and blocked me How do you know?
I just on't udnerstand this happens so often too, it's a wonder if I'm talking to people after 6 months to a year, often not even that long...*sighs*
So if you fall in that catagory, of talking to me semi consistently, a year or more later, I thank you, you are rare. and I cherish you all. Even more so when you're the one that reaches out to me consistently

People might vanish online because of real life issues ( health or otherwise ). They might vanish because they feel stressed out by spending too much time in front of a computer and want to get away for a while ( understandable, but they should really tell people they'll be away ). Or they might vanish because they don't think online friends are important because they're just 'a blip on a screen'.
People vanishing is just the nature of online communication. Anyone can talk to anyone, anywhere in the world, and often chatting is seen as just a fleeting thing. Don't dwell on it. Concentrate on the people who keep up the chats with you. Better to have a couple of good friends than dozens of random chatters anyway.
There are lots of peopel I dont talk to regualtly any more but I see them online, that makes sense...
But to just disapear off a nick entirely? It's foriegn to me
I've had the same messenger handle since I joined the internet back in the AOL since I signed on in hell the early to mid 90's? I've never been offline more then a week or so, say I was on a cruize or camping. Even when I'm away fropm the PC for a few days say at a con, I am on my messengers via my Celphone.
