I wish kangaroos weren't bipolar clawed death machines. Because I watch videos like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kD_yUKB85HM&list=HL1351130836&feature=mh_lolz and I I can't help but squeal with how fucking cute that kangaroos is. Along with, "damn I wish I could pet him a little behind the ears". Right afterwards, that part of my brain that deals with logic chimes in with, "Oh, you can go ahead and give him a little pet. You'll make a fantastic entry on 1000 ways to die".
Seriously. Kangaroos are cute and so interesting. I just wish they were at least as docile as most horse breeds so people could just go up and pet them and have their pictures taken with them without tempting the Grim Reaper.

I think generally the eastern greys seem to be rather docile.
I did come across some wild ones that lived in a small beach community. I suppose they were used to people. They'd let you get quite close and/or they were too lazy to get up and do anything about it :p They didn't like to be pet though.
People have certain wallabies as pets, I hear they're much more docile. Also they're smaller so they are less likely to completely kick your ass in a fight :3
Well, granted I didn't see any roos for like 3-4 days after landing in Aus x.o I saw 10,000x more cows than roos the whole trip D:
They were all females, the males kept behind a wire.
