NO PARENTS ALLOWED I think the most stand-out concept that Gattaca dealt with that kind of made the movie for me was the process of becoming another person in order to be validated as a human being. That idea haunts me. The social engineering and the lies to achieve what ultimately all people strive for in their lives: a purpose.
