iPad/iPod touch do have some artsy apps(Drawcast FTW), but they're not very good for any art beyond simple lines and colors.

On Amazon, they're $55~$84 USD, I got mine, and love it. I even bought mine before the page was updated, so I didn't expect the multi-touch functionality, made the purchase even more gratifying to me when it arrived.

No problem, I like to make sure people know their options, Big Business is just a bit too big in my opinion.

My step-dad's chainsaw is a good example of "Big Business out for themselves to **** the little guy", the saw started leaking gas faster than he could pour it in, so I took it apart to check the leak out, and found parts that were designed specifically to fail, such as throttle trigger parts made of plastic rubbing on a steel cable as part of the normal workings of the saw, and the seam on his fuel tank split all the way around, which caused the massive leak.

Sorry about the rant there, but the cheap USB cords used in the less expensive tablets is a "corner that never should have been cut", much like the throttle assembly on the aforementioned chainsaw.

Well, it's really worth the money. The quality is really good and the look of the actual tablet looks really nice. Plus it can last a really long time

Why not get commissions and earn for it? I spent 3 months doing commissions and selling adoptables, all to buy my drawing tablet! It's entirely doable if you have the will

sadly all the money from commissions is for food and bills , we have to last a month with nothing If I saved up for a tablet

Please buy a wacom bamboo. Seriously, I though you had one already.


Buy it used, they are tough things, takes at least two years before anything noticeable damage happens to it. (Like I once spilled soda on it, after a quick clean up, right back to normal. That was a used tablet as well. I even sold it on, after getting my intous. :XD: )

He is professional beyond measure.

Besides, you have used 30- 48 * four(tablets total) That is well beyond at least two bamboo tablets.

I'm going to have to agree with the above poster! I just ordered a Wacom Bamboo Splash and it comes in Halloween. I've only seen the best results and reviews on Wacom tablets though. Good luck!

the arting is on the back burner , Fact is I am moving back in with my parents (as we live out in the sticks with no car ) so I will be getting a job up there but for now I have to live on my art and the small amount of pay I get from working down at the chippy (which sadly they onluy need me for one day a week )

well once you get with your parents things should get better

They will do then , there are jobs up there for us so I will hopefully get another (better) tablet but not untill this one dies completly , It is still useable

The USB cable used in your current tablet likely wasn't oxygen-free cable, and corroded inside the sheathing, a very simple fix with the use of a screwdriver, a soldering gun, and a new $6 USB cable. All the wire coatings inside the main cable are color-coded to a standard set of four, so as long as you take proper disassembling notes, keep track of which color goes where, you can fix your current tablet in under an hour at the longest. If the old tablets are still hanging around, that might be the same fix they need.

It amazes me every time someone dismisses a piece of equipment because an expendable/easily replaceable part like a USB cord goes wrong. It's always a $6 fix, and it's always the same method of fixing when the cord dies.
