The pathetic rantings of a thirty-something mind
Well, seems my 5-year old Toshiba Satellite laptop finally bit the dust tonight...
...You were a good laptop. Though a bit heated at times, and a tad finicky, you took the full-force of my willy-nilly program installing, and were my portal to the furry fandom all those years ago. You stood up to the use and abuse of an American teenager, and for that, I must commend your stalwart soul. I'm grateful to have had you for all these years, and I am glad to have used you for as long as I did. Thank you, my friend. You have treated me well.

I've got a 'Median' (Aldi discount store) laptop from 2004 that still works, though all the USB's have packed up for some reason (I can't solve it).... The new HP pavilion I picked up cheap (new) just over a year ago, loves heating up, so I doubt it'll last long.....
