By no means do you ever have to contribute, but know that if you do, it's going to help someone who is working their butt off for a project they love.
Hopefully I'll be able to kick back and watch your entire stream sometime. (HughesNet is still ticking me off.)
So basically, making this game is his full-time job now?
Never thought he'd do something like that, in that case I can accept this 'Gold Account' business.
Subscription content will also be a way to improve the game by improving our servers to reduce load times, acquire new code, programs, equipment, and so much more.
So to speak.
Does it really take so much effort into HTH? I don't understand how animating works or anything of the likes mind you.
Areas and zones have to be planned out, usually as sketches or very rough 3D meshes. Structures are then added in Lightwave, which also requires a tremendous amount of planning, not only for character placement, but for puzzles, lighting, character interaction with the environment, camera motion, reflection, shadow, and interactivity. Not to mention however many items must be independently coded into a scene. Depending on the complexity of a zone or area, this can be weeks, or sometimes months of work. This is all before a single girl or NPC has set foot in the area.
Now take into consideration to simply add in a character's avatar and to do it well, you must have the following: Standing, Seated, Reclining, Ambient, and additional avatars for each character including rotations Front, back, and sides as well as multiple outfits, lighting schemes, makeup, jewelry, and accessories. As if that's not crazy enough, some characters have seasonal coats. Hair, body motion, dialogue, and interaction with the entire world as a whole also requires separate code.
Only now can the animations for the sex scenes be completed, and many times these can be the easiest part, although each of the sex scenes or interactions in general, including chat, must be independently programmed due to the unique nature of each characters, sexual technique, and preference. Area, environment, intensity, and mood of the character must also be coded into these scenes.
The final phase is an additional 20 -150 lines of code to link these files together, or at this phase, at least have it so that everything is matched and functioning. This is to prevent things like hairstyles randomly changing, from happening.
Also please understand -- and I would like to stress this: This is the entire process in brief. At times a single creative decision can add unexpected layers of complexity, or new challenges from the code. It is a very long and intense process. I'm also the only person doing it. I have no one to allocate this to, so I'm the only person who can fix things when something goes wrong, and the only person who keeps new content coming in.
I personally can't wait for when he gets Structure 1 playable. Sci-fi exploration, space battles, and more... with hot alien sex.
I honestly had no idea he was all alone working on it.
Since he has "Studios" in the name, I thought more people were involved.
Good luck with all of your endeavors.
