Oh Sandy...

"Sandy my darling, you're hurting us real bad..."
Now, before all of ya start getting any thoughts about showing sympathy, I'm not lamenting about someone who did me wrong in the past. I'm lamenting about the storm that's making it's way towards the Eastern seaboard, and it looks like it's gonna be a wet and wild one from the news reports.
Fortunately, I live on high ground so flooding won't be an issue; but if I lose power, can't say for sure when I'll be back on the site. said that we could be without power anywhere from a few days to a few weeks (Hopefully not THAT long). So yeah, I'm seriously praying that we don't lose power.
Coincidentally, this comes exactly one year after the East Coast was struck by a mosntrous snowstorm that brought down several trees (many of which still had leaves on them), and knocked out power to millions in the region. I still have fresh memories of that one, and I've heard reports of snow coming to Eastern Ohio/Western Pennsylvania, and they're even expecting up to 2 FEET in the mountains of West Virginia! I'm glad it's not coming this way again. Snow on Halloween was scary enough! :P
Still, to all Pennsylvania and East Coast furs out there, stay safe ok? See ya when the storm blows over.
OK that was really bad, but I couldn't resist. :P

Boy, the Atlantic sure is active lately, isn't it? I believe this is the 3rd year in a row that they've nearly used up all the available names on their lists!
