On Heaven

It must be emphasized that:
We are not an official Church of Satan group. We are not here on behalf of the Church of Satan. We are not a "Satanic Community."
We are a group on FurAffinity that are made up of individuals who follow the Church of Satan and the works of Anton LaVey.
"Lamb of God, you take away the sin of the world."
...that is akin to wrenching toys away from a toddler, or that toddler away from his father.
God represents the removal of all imperfections and the absolution of all sins, the very things that make us human. Satanists are adamant in their representation of the Seven Deadly Sins, the very things that define our humanity, upon which we have based our Statements and Rules of the Earth. Satanists seek to uplift humanity, accepting our fundamental flaws as beautiful, necessary, and laudable things.
But we will lift humanity no further than the pearly gates of that alien realm, Heaven. Can you imagine perfection, and what a nightmare it must be? How can one indulge when all indulgences are fulfilled? What unexplored magnitudes of boredom would one experience? Even being in the presence of such perfection would be torture: boundless pretentiousness, and infuriating infallibility. Perfect indeed: the perfect psychic vampire, the perfect psychotic.
Earth is what it is because of the flaws of humanity; sins are our defining quality, and our primal right. What cruel machination would dare wrench that away from us? We will rend God's precious little lambs with our lion's fangs. We will fight, lest we are imprisoned in the emptiness that is their flock, and their Heaven.
Hail Satan!

“people are so vastly different, with so many vastly different ideas of what perfect beauty is or perfect morals, that no one idea of perfection is correct, because for every one idea, there is at least one person who finds that idea terribly wrong. The word ‘perfect’ in itself is nonsense, gibberish and silly.”

“Fine! Then I'll make my own heaven! with blackjack! and hookers! It'll be like Valhalla, with fighting where you don't die and then you go inside afterwards to eat and fuck!”

“The goat face represents carnality. In ancient Egypt goats were considered representations as god symbols of lust, and we think lust is an important factor of biology that keeps humanity going so we value that. The five-pointed star really comes from the Pythagoreans. That is the one figure in which every element is within the golden mean of each other. It’s this wonderful mathematical symbol of perfection, organic perfection specifically. Since we are organic life and enjoy the idea of perfecting ourselves, that star is right for us in there and it perfectly fits the goat head inside.”

"In an interview with Wikinews, High Priest Peter H. Gilmore described the meaning of the symbol:
