Disney to buy Lucasfilm, put out new Star Wars movie.

No, I am not joking.
As you might have guessed from my recent stories, I'm a huge Star Wars fan, always have been, despite finding most of the EU stuff unbearably awful. This... this is something I did not expect, even in my wildest dreams or worst nightmares. I was absolutely certain that Lucas would go to his grave keeping the control of the Star Wars universe.
I honestly don't know whether I should be elated, terrified or what. I think I'm going to settle for "utterly surprised, confused and conflicted" for now...

At least under Disney, there won't be anymore Jar-Jar Binks.
No good will come of this.
This has GOT to piss of 20th Century Fox, since Star Wars was about the only damn thing keeping it afloat other than X-Men sequels. Obviously this can be a good thing, Disney can bring some fresh blood in, maybe make some Expanded Universe material, keep licensing good games, but still... It could so easily go the Jar Jar clone route.
While Im sure there is terms and conditions for follow up star wars, between you and me disney just wants lucasfilms inc. Possibly the ability to profit off of the star wars legacy, and probably the ability to put storm troopers in disney world. :P
