I would say that the reason people were offended is because the majority of your stuff dealt with real-life experiences and actual animals. The fact that someone has a sexual attraction to animals doesn't bother me. Like other illegal or potentially harmful fetishes, its fine as long as it remains in fantasy (role play, art, fictional writing, etc). People were offended because actual animals were involved. Regardless how you or your friends might feel about the subject, the majority of furries here- including myself- feel that bestiality is wrong and is harmful to the animal physically, mentally, and emotionally. So, it shouldn't be all that surprising that you'd get this kind of reaction.
