Ok after so asking around on the forums apparently the best way to go about learning to draw is to just keep practicing, simple really. I guess I just wanted to find out if there were other ways but its seems that the old saying of "Practice makes perfect" rings true in this circumstance. So I will practice as much as I can and see if I can improve my drawing ability by a smidgen.
