I was pretty appaled at first too.. but additional arguments have been pretty persuesive.
Disney owns Pixar. Their movies are rarely bad it seems.
Disney owns Marvel. The internet's practically overflowed with love for the Avengers and the rest of the supporting films (as well as keeping Joss Whedon working).
George Lucas owns all of Lucasfilm and he's announced he's going to be giving away the bulk of that $4 billion to supporting education.

While there's a risk we could see another Jar Jar Binks, there's even odds we could see Whedon get him kicked into a jet engine.

I was just thinking of that very topic as well. Disney owns Marvel and Amazing Spiderman was just AMAZING and Avengers was awesome! Pixar seems as though they just can't go wrong because their worst movies are still far better than Dreamworks Animation's best movies.
