Are my characters One Note Wonders? (serious help here)

OK... I've been trying to think of stuff for MFF. And I can't.
I kinda pride myself on being able to some how ADD my way into a great idea for a picture, but for some reason I can't. Not this time.
Looking at my two characters. They are almost completely one note. They have a "gimmick" and that's all they are.
For those that don't know. I have my "main" which is my Tigron character, and then i have a "sub" character that's only been in one image but I've struggled with creating a world for him, Tyler the micro skunk.
Am I losing my "touch" with being able to pull amazing ideas out of my ass to make stuff work for ideas. I mean I've been able to come up with stuff at the drop of the hat for others, but when it comes to mine... I got nothing.
Help.

So, to fill things out - What does your main do for a living? Is he a professional boxer/does he want to be? How have his matches gone? Is he boxing in college, or has he graduated? What's his major? Does he have any hobbies?
Then, fill the same things in for Tyler.

Tyler... I kinda created on a whim and promptly just hit a wall creatively.
