I feel so hopeless...

I feel like giving up... I've just tried practically everything. High smoothing, low smoothing. Undersketching then sketching over, all on one layer, vector layer and raster layer and...
Not one of them has done me any good. They've all failed to look any good, at all. I mean, I've got so much I'd love to do but not even half-a-percent of the talent required. I've got shitty hands and a shitty brain and I'm stuck with them forever.
I just can't.
It's just horrible.

But take my advice, though: Don't stop drawing. I know it can be rough at times, but improving your art skills doesn't happen overnight. Just draw what you love, experiment with different styles and art programs.
And if you need to take a break for a while. Sometimes a vacation from drawing can help.
And it's a great style!
The sooner you realise that there will ALWAYS be someone better than you, get over it, and draw how you like, the happier you'll be. Trust me, and stop trying to be something that you're not.
