Anthrocon 2013.. Need monies!

I know how much people hate journals begging for money and stuff like that so this is just asking for advice really.
I only need £2000 for it, and I have been thinking about it much more since earlier today and I would love some input. Does anyone have some ideas how I could get that much money before April 2013?
Before anyone asks, its because I want to visit some of my friends out in the US and also get to Anthrocon 2013 too.. Its been too long since I left this country (Ireland) and this seems like the best opportunity to do so.
Student loans and getting a job would help me with a good part of it but I need all of the money gathered between now and April at the latest. Getting a job is not as easy as it sounds either.
Open to all ideas except selling organs, myself, or kickstarter/grants.
All donations to the fund are very welcome too. I would hug/love/write stories anyone who could just give me the money but I know that wont happen.

Im saving up myself too, but just make sure you have enough for flights first. Then accommodation, try grouping with people to save money on hotels. For anything else, just make sure you have enough to cover the likes of the registration, food, drink, spending money. Be sure to get travel insurance in case anything happens, as USA aint cheap on medical bills.
Ill be heading from Ireland too lad, but I think I have who Im staying with sorted, just need to figure out getting more money saved
I have looked at flights/hotels near my friend and that will come to about 2k dollars for the round trip, the rest is then for expenditures such as the Con, travel, food, etc. when I am there.
Need something to get me money fast because prices will go up in the new year so I want to beat that as fast as I can.
I will get there somehow.. I hear the banks like to give people money...
