Where does my personality come from? Well, it is a mix of my natural personality, as well as boosted confidence and over-the-top expressions inspired by some of my favorite movies and games.

I would have to say that I got:
Swishy femme fatale beauty from Rita
Self-confidence and self-importance from Georgette
Cynicism and sarcasm from Scar
And expressions and a ton of personality from Shenzi.

Keep in mind, the list is much longer, but these are the ones I could think of right now. Shaya is a boyish, confident, sometimes-jerk/sometimes big softie. She is worried constantly about whether others view her as strong enough, fast enough, tough enough. She loves more than anything her boyfriend, Mikka  ics They play off of each others' opposing gender roles very well. She is the embodiment of masculinity, and he femininity. I chose the name Shaya because I like it. I didn't think until later about how her name is 'Shy' and she most definitely is not. Her personality wasn't well-defined when I chose her name. I like how she is. She has some character flaws, yes, but that just makes her more real to me. She is how I want to be in a lot of ways, and is how i am already. Irl, I am small, and no one takes me very seriously when I'm upset or anything. Shaya is my outlet for my frustration at being 'small' and 'cute' and pretty much 'helpless girl'. She is everything but.
