Being taught to avoid talking about Politics and Religion has led to a lack of understanding of Politics and Religion. What we should have been taught was how to have a civil conversation about a difficult topic.
Mission Accomplished, Country Saved! Oh, the Feelings I am experiencing now. Like the start of Paradise City. Like a Dragster spooling up for pre-staging. (they briefly hit full power to get the tires sticky before the full race) More poor people may be saved from DEATH for the victory of this President.
If only we had taken the House, we could save the nation with ease. Now we will have to work harder to get around the Republican crazy train, Paul Lucas said in his journal: I shudder to think of the damage that would be done by the bunch of hardcore teabaggers and Randites and birthers and frothing neocons that currently dominate the Republican party. Todd "Legitimate Rape" Akin and Richard "Gift From God Rape" Mourdock both lost their elections in the Senate. Is anyone surprised? If you're going to support a crime against women, don't be surprised when women don't vote for you!
I suppose that having the house in hostile hands is important, because saving America should not be easy. Nothing worth having is ever easy. This will make the job more difficult, but the sense of accomplishment that much greater if we are able to do it. Perhaps we will be able to show the rabid of both parties the door and return to the Sanity that we used to have.
I think it would be just deserts if Grover Norquest had to be rescued from Hurricane Sandy's remaining floodwaters by a FEMA rescue helicopter.

About Akin and Mourdock: its was not only that they said such stupid things about rape, but they couldn't shut up about it. Everytime they opened their mouths it seemed they inserted their foot into them.
And I'd also love to see that happen to Norquist. = )
