There was once a happy time in my life when seeing great artwork inspired me to try. Now it just makes me depressed. I can't take this horrible emotion that I feel when I try and fail over and over, while people around me just get better and better.

I'm not saying I'm giving up entirely, but only because that would make me a liar. I know I'll still doodle and scribble here and there, but I'm done trying.
