The pod began to hiss and I was in a deep sleep...


I slipt into darkness and woke up back at home. I looked around. I was home I couldn't believe it but I was home. I sat up and realized I was in my room. It still looked the same. Just a giant mess of papers, notes and all my textbooks thrown across the room. Yes, I'm not that organized if you could tell. I stretched out and hopped out of bed. Walking towards one of my open windows. The air stale as I breathed it in and out slowly. The blue sky above looked great so vivid and so alive. I let out a chuckle as I stared at the sky above. I then looked down at the field and saw my father. He turned looked at me then smiled. I was about to say something but he was engulfed by green flames. I screamed out then looked to the sky and I couldn't believe my eyes I saw 4 dragons fly through the sky each of different color. One of black, one of blue, one of red and the last one of red with black spots on its back. They all flew around the black one which was a much larger than the other three dragons. It seemed like they were trying to take down this giant monster. I watched in awe as each one zoomed around and attacked. The black dragon finally decided to strike back. It charged at the blue one and grabbed it wings with its giant claws the blue dragon struggled shooting fireballs of white at the black dragon but it seemed to just make the large one even more angry. The giant dragon let out a roar and ripped the blue one in two. The red one roared then charged and grabbed the back of the dragon. It started to gnaw at the back of the dragon and then shot blue fireballs at the wings of the dragon. The behemoth cried out in pain then bucked trying to get the dragon off but it wouldn't let go. Finally it curved its tail and impaled the red dragon with its sharp tip. The red beast screamed then let go of the black giant. The black tail flung the dragon into the air as its lifeless body flailed flew through the air it landed in the field sliding for meters than coming to a hault. Leaving a crevice in the earth. The red and black one flew up to the sky. Screeching and roaring such a unique sound it was the sound of beauty. The black dragon followed only to stop a few meters from the other dragon. The red and black one opened its mouth in a fireball then he let all of it out. The Black dragon quickly shot out a green flame countering the red and black dragons attack. I could only stare on until I saw the green flames in the fields grow then I saw my fathers charred skeleton stood up. Then waved at me.

“Son. Son. Join the darkness feel its embrace.” He said then turned to ash.

I was shocked to see this then looked down at my arms. The fur began to fall off of my body in tufts and dark splotches grew. My arms began to feel sore. My body felt like it was on fire. I then began to feel my stomach cramp up and I began to throw up blood. The two dragons still locked in battle finally they both let out a loud roar. Then a bright light filled the sky and then a mushroom cloud followed. I screamed and then it became dark. Why the dark? I hate the dark. I fear what is in it. What could kill me. What hides and waits for me. It has scared me since I was a child. Which I only have to laugh at myself since I am a cat.

My body started to feel warm and I then began to push against something solid. I kept pushing trying to free myself then it opened up. I fell out of my pod and my body felt like it was on fire. I tried to open my eyes but couldn't. My tail limp and my body just was in so much pain. I cried out in pain trying to stand up but I felt someone stepped on my tail then someone else kicked me in the ribs. I yet again cried out. I still couldn't see who was attacking me since I still couldn't open my eyes. All I could hear was there voices.

“So here is that cat! No one to protect you now.” The voice said but I knew who it was all to well. It was the guy who attacked me before James but I had no idea who the other guys were. I could feel there presence. I could feel there emotions and I could tell you one thing it wasn't going to be anything good for me. My senses told me there was six around me including James. Two of them picked me up and someone began to punch me in the face. They were all laughing then I smiled.

“Pathetic you know you're all pathetic. Were you waiting for me to wake up? Like bullies just waiting to pick a fight. Especially a cat that is waking up.”
“Oh shut up you damn sa-upa!” James yelled. I embraced myself for the next punch but nothing happened. I tried to open my eyes but it still hurt to open them.

“Hey, hey buddy can't we just get along.” Another voice said.
“Oh shut up Brandon you and your giant sa-ups get the hell out of here!”
“I'm going to say no and we fight.” Brandon spoke sounding cheerful.

The two that were holding me up dropped me to the floor and everyone at Brandon. I tried to get up but still no energy and my body was still in so much pain. I heard the fighting then it stopped.

“Go take him to the infirmary James. NOW!” Brandon yelled.

I heard footsteps leaving the place and then they walked over to me. One picked me up I could feel his grizzly hands as he stood me up straight.

“Are you ok?” Brandon asked.

I tried to look at him. He spoke the language of the animals. I just nodded then coughed.

He laughed. “You don't miss a beat. It's Nugest 7th.”
“I've been asleep... For that long?!”
“Yep, we are now in the gamma quadrant. Kinda glad you woke up when you did. We are going to need you.”

All I could do was smile then coughed again. “Moi Baku...”
“Choi, my name is Brandon and the Grizzly fella is Buckshy. But don't let the name fool ya he ain't nothing but fierce. Ain't that right?”
He growled. All I could do was laugh then I remembered I still need to pee. Well this was going to be interesting.
