I'm online if you wanna talk :c
but I understand that sometimes its better to just be alone.
Cheer up, though, you'll find a better job. Dunkin was sapping away your soul anyway
Worked at Dunkin for 1.5 years...can attest to them sapping souls. Could write a book about the systematic dismembering of mental and physical strength.
Just going into dunkin's has shown me how bad they must be to work :/
Never once seen a happy employee in one of those places. Its bad enough working minimum wage
Most removed tips as well. At least here in NE they barred employees from accepting tips. It was the final nail in the coffin for us trying to be good at our jobs to earn any ounce of respect from the horrible, evil customers that treated us like human garbage.
You don't know me...at all, but I worked almost 2 years at Dunkin if you want to talk, I can tell you some horror stories about my time at the evil empire, maybe it will cheer you up?
I actually put out a fire at my DD that a customer set on our building. I called the fire department and I grabbed the extinguisher. Manager refused to evacuate because it was "bad for business" and when the fire chief came in and screamed at her till she cried, she blamed me and then wrote me up for using the fire extinguisher. It was a franchise, and she was BFFs with the owner, so I had no way to fight back.
Also, one more quick story, they had me working in a 5x3 back room with all the TurboChef ovens in summer making sandwiches. It was almost 110 degrees in there and when I started getting dizzy, I got an ice coffee for myself and they wrote me up for stealing...then sent me home because I was being "too slow" on sandwiches. I couldn't even walk home. I collapsed outside and had to have my grandmother pick me up.
I still think you should get involved with tattooing again ;x;
sucks that you lost your job -but after reading some of the stuff here i think you're better off not having to work there anymore;
maybe it's time for a fresh start? (i know, easier said than done)

At least when I worked there in VA I could deal because I'd get maybe $5 extra for dealing with the shit, but these days I don't even get that.
