Can we dim the lights please? (and speak seriously...)
13 years ago
I don't talk cereal very often but it might be a good idea after some of the private messages I have been receiving. I'm Speaking to you guys specifically (the "community",) and not to YouTube. I know a lot of you are probably upset that the series has gone through a couple of changes since it started, some of them were our decision, some of them were out of our control. All of them, I personally felt necessary for the series to grow.
Fatigue's Gender
I'm going to let you guys in on a little secret. If enough of you think he's a boy, we're going to allude to him being a girl. If suddenly everyone thinks fatigue is a girl, were going to make jokes about her being a boy. We weren't forced to do this, this was actually Travis' idea and I thought it was hilarious. You guys are in on a huge scam, instead of assuming Fatigue's gender and linking people to the old comics (which are irrelevant at this point) you guys should be trolling the shit out of you tubers. Why give people facts, and risk being wrong? It's a lot more fun to dance around an answer then to give one. If you guys dont wanna' troll, you're gonna' end up being trolled, just sayin...
Money.
HAHAAHAHA! I don't make money on this show, I lose it. That's cute that some of you think I'm getting rich from this. All the money I make goes to the team members who work hard on the show. Thanks guys!...
Sell out
I have been told that I'm a big piece of shit sellout who isn't funny and gave up sexual humor for money. I honestly can't blame you for thinking that, but I don't agree. The jokes are still pretty raunchy, and not all the jokes NEED to be adult. Ill admit I have toned it back a bit just to follow YouTube's guidelines. YouTube pulls revenue funding for videos that are tagged "Mature." Jacked Ass was tagged, so that kind of gives you an idea of where YouTube draws the line. I would love to make animations of the characters fucking the shit out of each other, but if I want to pay the bill's I cant, sorry.
Everything else.
My goal is to create a show that furfags and non furfags can both enjoy. It would be nice if when people heard of furry thought of Bedfellows, and laughed, instead of that episode of CSI, or that one ER, or that retarded creepy MTV thing that people saw and vomited in their mouth a little. So I leave you with this. Relax, watch the show, or don't watch it, Laugh at it, or don't. Troll, but don't be trolled, don't take it so seriously, its meant to be fun.
Thanks everyone for understanding and support
NOW FUCK OFF!

FA+

Keep the videos coming and I will keep watching.
A fan,
Seek
*fucks off into the sky*
Looking forward to upcomming episodes, the funniest episodes are the ones that push the bar and make you wonder how they are on youtube in the first place .
allow me to love you many times
Please keep doing this. :v
Loving the work, regardless of how it's changed. It's still hilarious.
SHENANIGANS
LET ME LOVE YOU
No one gives a fuck 8D
Its not often that a product of the furry community gets an opportunity to gain a greater audience, and I could think of worse things to leak out of our borders.
Like dragon dildos.
Go for it and do what's necessary. You aint "sellouts" until you sacrifice everything YOU personally enjoyed about the project to appease the system.
At that point you should take your life in the most disgusting way possible. BUT UNTIL THEN, if its fun and you're motivated, see what you can turn this into!
Fuck you too
YOU KNOW WHAT THE BIGGEST SELL OUTS ARE?
EVERY FURRY THAT SELLS VISUAL SEXUAL GRATIFICATION FOR MONEY
WHAT A BUNCH OF FAGGOTS
That works for most furries! =D
We all know the fandom's all about porn, so people bitching about the lack or decline of sexual humor don't surprise me at all 8D
Quite frankly, the quality of the jokes hasn't declined any from what I can tell... I don't really need to go into why, you covered it quite well.
Also, who cares of Fatigue is a girl or a guy! He or she is friggn' adorable either way. <3
I'm amazed people give a fuck because I don't. I just accept it for what it is & enjoy it. That's what I think everyone should be doing.
At the end of the day, its just a character that isn't real. Yeah its based off of real people but seriously, I think people read waaaay too much into some things...
People should lighten up.
People are soo mature... I'd bet a hundred bucks, that there are a lot of underage kids being all tough internet badasses, judging by their comments. Like, ffs, it's an animation series! :'D
Or people who are way too bored, looking for an argument.
I don't bother commenting on youtube any more (mostly), there are a lot of retards on there.
Not worth my time.
I watched your page recent because I liked the old comics and found that your comics had a page here. I continue watching this page because I like the new comics as well, even with the shift in content. As for the change in content itself, the series is your creation, your vision, and as such, you're free to decide any changes you deem necessary to further your vision. This is not selling out, but rather enhancing the product in accordance with your will.
The series is highly enjoyable and funny, at least to me, and the shift towards less sexual content lends itself to better character development and/or time to increase the hilarity that exist outside of the naughty jokes.
These are just my thoughts though, and anyone is free to agree or disagree with me, as well as dismiss my opinion entirely, but I wanted to state how I feel.
*gives a flower*
Anyone who thinks indy animation is a money-maker doesn't know a fuck from a fart :D
Sell out.
Please. Different people have different taste. When you shift your style (in ANY direction) you'll be praised by some who like the change and accused of going off the rails by some who don't. Furthermore, tweaking your content in order to reach a larger audience is NOT "selling out". When you bust your ass creating work of art, you earn the right to choose which niche(s) you're going to try and reach. The End!
Everything else.
When the cartoon came out, I literally remember thinking: "Oh, something furry that my non-furry friends can enjoy too! Awesome." In other words, what you were hoping to achieve was exactly my initial reaction. Rock on, fellows.
Fatigue's gender.
I'm glad you explained your "huge scam", because to be honest (and this is purely my own subjective reaction) it turned me off in a way you did not intend. See, when the comics disappeared and all the "you're delusional" comments started cropping up, I misinterpreted your motives. I wondered (didn't assume, wondered) if you were trying to distance yourselves from the comics and make the people who'd enjoyed them look like liars. In other words, I worried that this might be a big, disingenuous "fuck you". Anyway, it's now quite clear that THIS IS NOT AT ALL WHAT YOU MEANT, and for that I'm relieved. There's a fine line between trolling for laughs and jerking your audience around; when you dance on that line, people like me will sometimes misunderstand! Just, y'know... make your peace with that, I suppose :)
Best of luck! Love your work.
One thing:
"My goal is to create a show that furfags and non furfags can both enjoy."
Try to focus more on non-furfags, and the furfags will follow.
Entertaining videos, though.
But like ants to a picnic, they attract the unwanted crowd. So I guess you gotta take it into your stride, right? Famous people get both good and bad attention o:
Anyways, double thumbs up from this furry. Keep the jokes coming and let them roll ^^
Characters are great, animation fluid and the dialogue, hilarious. Would love looking forward for more!
Oh right...you're an artist...I heard artists need these alot...
*pats on the back*
Cheers!

Huh?
Wait, there was an ER episode & MTV thing too?! All I know about is the CSI thing... :I
PS: And no matter what you do or where you go you will find drama. In every community in every situation. I laugh more when someone says 'Furry Drama'. As if that is the only drama there is. Just look at politics and the drama fest it creates. News stations, Computer corporations, national banks. And speaking of other fandoms the Anime Freaks and the Trekies are worse than most furries with drama. And the Internet is the place where we all come together. Go figure why we see more on the web than elsewhere.
that's hat I recall hearing about the base plot of it
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
but you never explained why you removed all your old comics....
maybe make a book with them all in it?
idk, I like all your work, some of the old stuff better
can you maybe make a 2ed account with all your old stuff on it please?
thanks!
Just saying
AND MAKE ME A SANDWICH WHILE YOU'RE AT IT!
or a hermaphrodite? V:
Keep doing what you're doing, things change and I find your animations funny :)
OH GOD...Please tell me someone will pick that joke up....
Also I like to imagine that the only reason Sheen ended up with Fatigue is that he mistook him for a girl himself.
I am unaware of your previous catalog of artwork. I came back from a YouTube marathon of your cartoons. I got tons of respect of your diligence, fortitude and your vision to output something COOL with furry characters into the media pool. People talk about how awkward furry is but few are willing to do something to prove otherwise.
It's easy to talk shit about what other people create. It's an accessible excuse for not creating anything themselves. They cannot be attacked for something they never made. Oftentimes, they will coach themselves into thinking that they COULD make something outstanding if they put forth a genuine effort. In reality, they are painting a false operational picture to gain an unspoken sense of flawlessness or mild superiority in the absence of merit. I wouldn't be surprised that your hate mail is coming from the same two or three miserable guys with mild Asperger's from LULZ.net. Either that, or some kind of unknown rival that feels overshadowed.
There's a movie called "Heckler" that I would very highly recommend as it is *very* relevant to creative types. Plus it's pretty funny. It's streamed on Netflix.
