Not sure which I prefer; I like at least being able to see the art style, though. Generally, if I'm working on something that's fairly rough, I'll submit a notice with a finished piece, but if I've got colors already, I'll submit the WIP.

Yeah, I would rather people be able to see what's going to become of it, so in the past I've posted a notice with an image that's similar to the one I'm creating. But if it's mostly done then I'll post that, since chances are that there are finished portions (just because of the way I work). Ideally it would be nice to be able to post a finished piece and the starting sketch, but I tend to think about what a notice will look like at 100x100px so it's hard to have both.

I dunno. I'll figure out which I'll do. I'm leaning towards a finished piece if it's a sketch, and the image itself if it's closer to being done.

Another thing I've seen is when people have a specific stream notification- like, it's always the same picture, and it was made as an announcement. Those can sometimes look pretty professional.

I try to do that with each one. I just swap out the pic and topic if need be. You've seen some of my notifications, right?
