Ratha Graphic Novel Update

Imaginator Press (Sheila Ruth) and I are moving a bit slowly on the Ratha's Creature Graphic Novel project, but the reasons for doing so are positive.

One reason is that this is a new trail for us and we are moving carefully, planning things to prevent mistakes, and making sure communications are clear between participants.

Hurricane Sandy was a distracting factor,
since friends, family, co-workers and artists live in the hurricane-affected area. Thankfully, all are safe, and damage seems to be minimal. The Presidential election caught up many folks, including me. Sheila and I are glad the election is over and are pleased with are results.

We also have had a delightfully difficult time choosing an artist team, and we are still completing the process. All the submissions were excellent, andsome outstanding, making us tear our fur out a bit over who to choose and how they would work together. We also wished we could use all the artists who submitted, but, of course, we can't.

As soon as the art team is on-board, we will begin the Kickstarter campaign, so watch for announcements. The project itself is exciting and the way we are doing it (showcasing Ratha fan artists, and having the author (me) do the initial storyboarding) is unique, so that will help attract attention and backing.
