Okay. Here's a question. Why do you think you don't fit in at cons? What's wrong?

I don't "party".. I don't fursuit enough. I don't stay up late enough..

Hey, in a decade of cons I've never been to a room party.
You don't have to party to fit in. I don't even drink.
You're only 5 years older than me, and I didn't discover the fandom until I was in my 20s either. I was 25 when I attended my first con and I didn't get a fursuit until I was 33.
Of course you fit in. Would have liked to have seen more of you during MFF

I spent most of the con bored and lonely. :(

I drifted between people. Spent some time with Scooter & White Paw, then Skippyfox, then Norfox & Begger or JBadger. And now and then, sometimes long stretches when I couldn't find anyone I knew, I was alone. You would have been more than welcome anytime, either for dinner or to just hang out. I'll keep an eye out for you next con.

Dang, man, you should've hung out with me. i don't exactly "fit in" either. So i mostly mill around taking suit pics when i'm not going to a panel.

I didn't even find the fandom till I was 22.. and that was after I had a fursuit...

we must be more alike than i thought, except I feared not fitting in so much that I didn't join in until now - and I'm 28!
But, put your chin up there my purple roo friend - you've got friends and fellow furs that love ya - and enjoy having you at a con - in fact I'm in need of rooming buddies for cons myself - considering your suits helped get me to actually get my own, I would be more than happy, in fact, honored to hang out at cons with you!
