I’m afraid what was written in the last newsletter about the allowing 16 to 17 years olds into the Main Meet venue has fallen through. In short whilst the manager was up for the idea the owner had to u-turn after finding out the insurers did not cover having minors on the premise.

In short, officially speaking under 18s should not be attending the main meet, however if you are in the venue, we advice you stay well away from the bar even if it’s water or soft drinks you want as the venue will get upset if they find you present in the bar.

Also note that there will be an overflow of some furs in the venue next door Crunch (mini meet venue), if you bear in mind we do not have any exclusivity to it.

Consequently we also advice attendees to bring some form of valid age identification. If you don’t, well if you encounter any awkwardness with the venue we did warn you.

Speaking of Skapup he has the following to say regarding main meet activities:

Fursuit bowling maybe taking place. Manager said its fine to do it as long as that you don't wear paws (feet or hand) and suiting can only take place in the bowling area and not the rest of Namco or Trafford Centre due to other customers.

Laser Quest fursuiting may take place, they don’t have a problem with it but a payment of £100 needs to be paid before hand for private booking which sadly I can not do. They said if we go for a public game then its upto the management at the time to decide if fursuits can be worn.
