2x or 3x, depending on the BPM. Overhead is a MUST on ITG. For Stepmania, any speed mod that puts the song between 500 and 700 BPM.
8. What's your most favorite DDR version and why?
Extreme (Arcade). It's got Crash!. Yep.

Nope. I'm in it for fun.
13. What are your thoughts on the console versions of DDR?
Pretty cool. They need more songs from the arcade versions, IMO.
14. Do you listen to the official DDR music wherever you go?
Whenever I've got my iPod with me, I have a couple DDR songs on it.
15. Which commentary voice actor do you like best?
No commentary. I find it a bit distracting.

Love it! Say what you will, but Little Kitty Mine is my absolute favorite song on it.

It's good. Restating the fact that the console versions need more songs from the arcade versions.

ITG also has plenty of choices and mods and you can play your own songs on it too ^^
