Gone But Not Forgotten

I was debating on whether or not to post this again, I'm not in a sharing mood right now, but the noble thing to do would be to honor this guy as much as possible...
This guy, from just a few of his older works, inspired my early "style" in artwork and anthro artwork, and what's more is he inspired me... and now he's dead... and rather recently to salt a fresh wound. I discovered him recently but never got the opportunity to know the guy, and that's what really affects me.
Go to my DA journal for the preachy response: http://lupinator.deviantart.com/journal/
But the gist of this is that you need to make sure you guys don't leave loose ends, don't procrastinate on things (especially with people), love each other even if you hate the things they do, and learn to appreciate each other... Drop your bogus ego trips and get the fuck over yourself if that's something too, if you're gonna regret later (which anyone who calls themselves human should). We all get one shot at life and it's too short already... but regret isn't.
I dunno, it might have been harder for me to deal with his death if I actually knew him, maybe we wouldn't have even been friends, I won't likely know, but I concluded long ago that death is only a bad thing when you've left things unconcluded and undone.

*Sigh* Anyway, I digress, what I meant to say was that my thoughts are there and that I agree which what you said above. Live each day as if it were your last and never part on an argument! *hugs*
But thanks Leo, you've always been a good friend. *hug*
maybe your reasons are mine why I dive so deep into the community here; to get in touch with the artists which art I admire so. maybe even become distant friends...
before, I could only plunder archives, flip through the art... here I can tell them if, and how, it touches my life.
the chance of a lifetime.
I know where I came from: a gamer, an artistic dilletante trying to create a good picture of my RPG characters. it started some 18 years ago, and I don't know if I ever will be 'great'.
heck, I am not sure if I would want to be 'great' at all. :)
