Whelp...the holidays are starting up. Least favorite time of the year...
The holidays usually make me really bitter, they have for years. It's a time for family, so to speak...but the people I really want to spend time with, I can't, and the extended family just doesn't feel like home. Doesn't help that I'm stuck in a generational gap...about five years under the next oldest relative, and a decade over the next youngest. Say numbers, whatever...but it shows, really easily, and it's very bitter to be in a crowded family party and be all alone.

I always get really depressed and bitter around this time of year, and most of my "everything that is wrong with humanity" material comes from the black friday to christmas span of time.

*Hugs* I know how you feel. I locked myself in my room during Thanksgiving dinner just to avoid my dad constantly scapegoating me for not being "normal".
