just made me think about something.
Are Hot Rod and Arcee from the original Transformers related to Rattrap from Beast Wars after all?
To quote my reply to the above pic and provide possible proof of this, I offer this quote from Rattrap.
"Oh, for the love of my great-aunt Arcee..."
As we all know, Hot Rod and Arcee were quite in love with each other. Could they have had children (which Gideon's pic offers a possible solution to the question of how), and somewhere down the line, one of Arcee's cousins' daughter had Rattrap as a son?
I think I just slagged my brain thinking about this, to put it in Transformers terms.

Moreover consider the fact that the original Autobots vanished for some...what was it, four billion years? Who knows what could have happened?
Anyway, I think the reference to Arcee was just that--a reference, just to see if longtime fans would notice.
