Well, I had a rather interesting day today. I took the day off to attend a Case Management Society of America picnic my mom was invited to at the Oklahoma City Zoo along with my two nephews. Got some pictures on a kodak disposable camera that I hope come out (still don't have a replacement digital yet >.<;) and saw some awesome animals, including a few native species I'd never seen close-up before. At one point, a white-tailed deer buck came right up to the fence and turned his head so I got an awesome profile shot of his head with his budding antlers. Also saw a specimen of one of the rarest of European snakes, Kaznakov's Viper, which is limited to the eastern coast of the Black Sea. Also saw a couple of African Lion cubs they have there, though for cubs they were pretty big; about the size of a medium-breed dog. After we left the zoo, we swung by Little Caesar's & Sonic for dinner and drinks & dessert, respectively. I ended up getting a minor sunburn out of the deal (it's not hurting yet and I plan to put some aloe gel on it before it does), but all in all it was certainly worth it plus I got a day off work out of the deal as well. Oh, before I forget, I took and passed the written test for my driver's license this past Thursday. Would have taken the driving part too, but they were maxed out on openings and didn't have any available that day, but I can come back to take it any time within 90 days of taking the written. Looks like things are going relatively well for me at present, hope my luck holds!
