MMO games suck

Incoming rant.
And do you know why? Because 99% of the people playing them are total fucktards! All free ones suck by default, Wow's ranover by angsty teens, and the rest as just as bad.
I had huge hopes of AoC for its K-18 rating, but I realised IT DOESNT MEAN JACKSHIT!!! Every single player is either an elitist shitpile, 12yearold who's parents have bought the game, or just generally all fucked up. And mostly that game is broken as hell. It gets really REALLY boring after lv40, Dark Templars are the worst class in the whole gaming universe, PvP (never cared about that but still) is just as bad as in Wow, and generally it just feels rushed. I know the game is new and all but Jesus Fucking Christ, its 2008 and I expect the games to be atleast somewhat complete!
The only reason why i still pay my month fee for Wow is because I still get some fun out of it with my lil bro, just fooling around and killing alliance, and since most of the players are just angry kids I dont feel any shame of it.
Warhammer seems just as bad, and since GamesWorkshop has robbed enough money from me, I aint gonna try this unless it receive's the title "Game made by God himself".
And Xbox live sucks too.
End.

FA+

Its better to play games like Counter Strike or Battlefield.
The second you get good, people who have the mental maturity of a brick shout YOU CHEATER! AWP NOOB! NO NOT THE AUTOSNIPER! GTFO! and so on, so generally, I always play with myself and that's good enough.
Nooo, not in that sense.
Second: I have better things to do with my time.
Finally someone how things alike
but I totally agree with you, if a game requires a GODDAMN credit card to play, there should be NO CHILDREN on it... I mean come on parent's Do your job, and learn what your kids are playing... just come up behind them at some point without them knowing to see how they are acting... its not hard... i do it all the time with my kids... and they know how to behve (tho they are not allowed to play online games or anything rated higher than Teen, unless I have played it and run through the whole thing to be sure there is nothing innappropriate for them in it.)
Play "The Witcher "
And about MMO - Idiots are VERY common (I know...)
Just ignore them.
Nothing satisfies them more than your anger.
And I've read all the Witcher Saga so I wanted to compare book/game.
And why you don't like it?
Others don't like that everything you do has it's consequences.
And for me this makes a game unique
Oh...
And I never needed potion "desperately" before I learned how to open inventory - you can do it from the start, by pressing "I" key :p
But maybe let's change the topic, ok? :3
But if you really want to chat, maybe we should do it with the use of notes.
We made a GIANT offtopic at

They are just kids, leave them alone and then you'll be able to play with your brother in a more comfortable way, ignore the baby kids ^^.

Or Dream of Mirror Online.

I think so anyways.
Anarchy Online is by the same company as Age of Conan, The company called FunCOM which seems to have largely forgotten about it's earlier project despite promises and claims of a new engine, and regularily updated content which since several years ago turned to shit in no-time. It's dipped beyond the number of 750,000 players recently, a veteran slowly withering away with it's unimaginable ammounts of content, land mass, and several grand expansions which (after you have paid to buy the expansions themselves) will cost you 66% of the monthly World of Warcraft fee.
My verdict, MMORPGs don't suck, World of Warcraft lowered the standards of MMORPG gaming and is killing off the genre alltogether, first it removes any chance for any new MMORPG to become popular, secondly it is of such low quality that people infact are forgetting what MMORPG gaming truly is.
Age of Conan is a game based on the standard World of Warcraft set nowadays, everything that's now coming out will suck, fuck quality, fuck quantity, let's have mediocrity all over.
Also, most MMO's are in case of gameplay way behind their offlines cousins, best example here is WoW.
I play EVE-Online. If someone pisses me off I just kill them in game. I'm an evil space pirate
I take it you've just about had it with all the juveniles playing in these games, just like I have, eh? I recently started playing City of Villains because someone gave me a 10 day trail period. The game has one of the most addicting features ever, and it's not even the actual game itself! In the character creations screens you can spend literally hours making your perfect villain or hero, and tricking them out just so, and I think they could ( and should add still more). Then you actually start to PLAY the game.
I was a noob, and I accepted it. But I was still able to reach about lvl 10, and head to a harder part of the game, where I stalled out. I kept getting killed by the tougher mobs, or getting swarmed, and couldn't fight through a lot of the missions either. I was left to search for some one to team with, and when someone accepted, I was happy. I should have known better. The second thing the leader tells me is that I'm a noob, and then laughs at me; his followers laugh too. When I tell him I was looking for help, not ridicule, he tells me to get over myself. ...So I quit the team. Oddly, the anger I felt was enough to make me play much more recklessly, and I was able to level alone for a while. :P
Though not all people in that game are like that, enough are, both there and in most online games, to make people want to chew their keyboard. My WoW account is presently on hold, simply because it got boring. Everyone who wasn't a maxed out uber noob... because apparently when you've done everything, you get your own personalized asshole license mailed to you... was a Grubber; someone who was only interested in self, above adventure, fun, challenge, cooperation, teamwork or any of that *other* boring stuff these games are based on. Since I'm the type of person who will pause to just look at the design of an instance or read a book with history in it so as to feel more in touch with the world I'm playing in, I don't fit in with that mentality too well. I'll start again once the expansion comes out, maybe.
But chill out, cousin! :3 I've heard some good and some bad about AoC, and 'm sure there are going to be some who will be insanely good at it and some who are less so. As for the assholes? Where are there NOT any of those...? RL is no refuge. ^^;;
The Good, The Meh, & The Bad of it
Good: A large player base of ppl with brains in their heads.
Meh: Average player age of 14 years old (but it is rising).
Bad: Like all MMO's, there are still a fair number of morons.
Good: Regular updates (quests, items, graphics, etc).
Meh: A lot of updates are not noticeable.
Bad: Some updates just plain suck (the recent mods to the PvP system for example is something I hear ppl complaining about a lot (never my bag though)).
Good: Good in-game chat system (that thankfully can be turned on/off at will).
Meh: Can be hard to read private chat at times (or an annoyance depending on setup).
Bad: Can be nearly impossible to keep up with public chat on busy worlds.
Anyways, just my two-bits about it. Hell, they've kept this old wolf at least some what entertained for the past 2 years or so.
And the whole PvP Battlegrounds thing, for the love of gods, that's the most retarded thing i have ever experianced! If i didn't need the points for cheap "good" gear i would never have tryed it, Ever! D:
All the bitching and complaining because no one listens to someone who has a clue how to win the game. then they complain when you do listen. Gah!! >.<
But there is the other side to it. I do have fun talking to people online. Grouping up with like minded people and hitting the dungeons ('cause that's all theres left to do at 70 :| ), hell i even met someone from FA online and had some fun chatting with them too :D
