Apparently ALOT of people want to send them to me. I'm a little paranoid for giving out my adress to people ive only barely met online, no offense. So im working out a possibility for everyone to be happy with either a PO box or sending them to my parents house where nothing bad can happen. since i'll be spending christmas/newyears with them.

E cards maybe? Then no physical address. And no worries about nastiness going to you or the folks.

Good idea! But e-cards developed a really bad rep when spammers were using fake ecard links and spoofing legit names like American Greetings and Hallmark to spread viruses. I like them, but unless you KNOW and TRUST the sender, they may go unopened.

hmmm... there's always mailboxes etc, or something like them if your near one. I think they do month to month and longer mailbox addresses.

I was going to suggest the same thing! But you're paying for that too, although they might have shorter terms. BUT, unless there's one near you, you might as well go PO box. I don't like PO boxes myself, but where I live it's the only way I can get my mail, no home delivery here in this mudpuddle.

A PO box would be your best bet, condiering too that you'd have to pay for one, and the PO usually doesn't rent one out for less than 6 months, or at least that's the way it used to be. Chat with 'em, see what you can work out!

Sending them to your parents how is a good idea too, provided you don't mind giving out their address to The Teeming Millions!

Well, I was considering another option that would be safe, granted not the same personal touch, but Ecards. Hallmark and others do offer them ^_^ there were those that kind of ruined it (aka fraudulant ecards) but then there's places like Hallmark's and Jib Jab

PO Boxes are always a good way to not give out your real info.

is it still ok to send the gift stuff ive been talking about to you directly? i have your address from the time a while ago when you sent the artcards... i dont know if that is the right one though. if yes but not the right one, could u note me?

If they want to send you artworks or the like, I think Tumblr has an option similar to that.

I like sending out christmas cards, but some people seem vehemently opposed to them. I have to ask first. Would you like one from me?

Personally I like getting them. I'll tape them up to the inside of my door to make my room look more festive during the season.
