You seem to have a "set" path there. Its very hard to sum up a good and action packed story all in 30 pages. My goal for my comic is 60 pages, but considering how slow the story is going, it might be longer than that since I am doing it "as I go along".

You have to draw, scan and color everything on teh computer, so no wonder it is taking you so long. Plus you work and you get distracted by these : shows you a shiny thing :. Maybe you should do small series of books, make every chapter 30 to 40 pages long. You could do somewhat of a "monthly" comic if you like. That might be a better idea then to make a huge and very thick comic. The "Lord of the Rings" book was first a very thick book that no one could pick up until they decided to dice it into three books.

Do these comics when you can. Make it a project for yourself. Work comes first. I am lagging behind on my comic because I work more than I play. When I play, I work on my comic or get distracted on video games. ^_^;

I would love to see more of your drawings for your comic when I see ya again. I like to look at them in rough pencil form.

Well they vary in length... Volcano was supposed to be a short one, but I decided to drag it out. Maybe for the practice.

It would be a HUGE book if they were all in one, rather, I'm saying they're all the same series. They're all in the same story universe, the same planet. Each number is an individual story or individual comic, with any number of pages. The comics cna be divided into parts. Volcano has a first and second half, and an epilogue... I'm on the second half now.

And yeah, pro comics have a writer, a penciller, an inker, and a colorist (sometimes a team of colorists), that's why they can get done much faster. I have to do all the jobs. I tried doing a comic in traditional media (with colored pencils and paints) but I wasn't any faster than on the computer. sooooo yeah.

Yikes, do you think you should be giving so much away? As far as who dies, and when? Knowing ahead of time will take away a lot of the emotional impact... O_O

It's so far off, I wouldn't worry. I didn't say how or why, that's the emotional side. Even if I'm told a character will die in something I'm watching/reading, I still find myself getting teary eyed. Actually, I prefer to know, to emotioanlly prepare myself, instead of going "what? no, they can't really be dead, are they?!"

Looks like you got a lot planned out ^^" Sounds kind of like me with books that I'm writing o.O Good luck! I think you'll do fine with it but I can see where you would possibly want to gain a hand or two to help you out. Nice timeline set up.
