I know it's been a while and I haven't been active much on FA at all. Life (especially grad school) does that :P

This post is in fact, about school. I'm doing a major project for one of my courses, and as part of the project we are supposed to get in touch with someone "in a different culture" and have a discussion with them about the topic. I don't have any big social networks online, but I figured FA would be a good place to find interesting people :)

We were allowed to choose any scientific topic, so like any good bee, I went the botanical route and chose plants.

So if you (or anyone you know) is from faraway-from-OneX-land (so not Canada/USA) and would like to spend maybe 30-60 minutes chatting with me on MSN/AIM about plants, please drop me a comment or a note and we can arrange something.
