So I had an apointment with my local optician today, but since I was early in town I needed to kill some time.
I went into a store to look around and found some of these

I haven't tasted these since my childhood so I had to buy em cos to see if they were as I remembered. ^^
and darn did they taste as remembered xD twas like a fruity glucose explosion inside ma mouth. ^^
Which somewhere deep within my rational analyzing part of my mind confirmed my theory, about how we've got so many hyperactive dibbuns/children all over the world. xD
