I have gotten a lot of suggestions about a matter and I wanna talk it out right now. It's about my painting, and a lot of people including my Cousin said this same thing.
"Hey, you should try and do some shading."
Yes. I know I should. I know it will make my work have more pop for the buck. But do I wanna do it? Nope. Now let me get something clear. I'm not saying no to be an asshole. Let me explain. The truth be told I'm having fun with flats. That's what I wanna do. Have FUN. It's one of those few things that make me content and happy. In fact, I used to be one of those FAers that was bitter at others for being rich to buy commissions and all that jazz. I was a jealous little prick. Once I found I can actually be GOOD at this painting stuff, it's what took my mind off...negatory things.
Besides, I want to take up shading when I'm ready. And trust me, I got a lot to improve as it is before I take that next step. Some people told me my latest stuff looks improved. So I should do what I do best. Have fun and take it at a natural pace. Lazy? Some might think so. But it works for me.

if you do not spread your wings in skills that "fun" you enjoy now will disappear quick...even I know when to try new things...
I'm sorry for the harsh words. but you need to understand eating just meat and potatoes isn't good..spread to making other dishes...
in other words experiment and spread so you have more to grow from.
