Good luck... My dentist pulled out a wisdom tooth a couple months ago that didn't really grow in all the way and while he wasn't allowed to let me keep it (apparently some biohazard rules about that kind of thing now) he showed it to me because it looked really cool.... And it did. It was shaped like a J and came out of my mouth like a boomerang.

That sounds really interesting O.O
Yea, I was surprised my doctor said I could have my teeth, most people say they weren't allowed to keep them..
He said I'll get 2 fully rooted, and the other 2 will be broken, but I can put them in a jar or something...

Sweet. I've had past ones let me keep them before. This guy was just like, "LOOK AT THIS CRAAAZY TOOF." But I love him. I don't do painkillers other than what they give you during it and they had me rolling, guy was talking about being on a diet and keeping a thing of oreo cookies in the office behind one of those "break if emergency" glass cases. It healed quickly though (I had one pulled on each side, I have weird teeth), I just swished with salt water throughout the day (no gargling or sucking on things for a few weeks) and took OTC ibuprofen. Healed up fine.

At least it's not like me. i had my wisdom teeth removed. all four at once. the dentist left in 'disolvable' stitches. which. did not disolve fully before my gums grew around them, got inflamed, and became absessed, again ALL FOUR. three months later i went in for a cleaning (seriously, i thought it was normal for a surgery to take months to heal, i didn't think anything of it) This DUMBASS dentist, stuck his finger in my mother bleeping mouth and PRESSED DOWN ON THE SWOLLEN ABSESS and goes 'does this hurt?' DAMN RIGHT IT DID. he lanced them. cleaned my teeth, made me woozy for a day or two off of that freakin' laughing gas, and finally, the stupid things healed. now. when my b rother went in for the same. exact. surgery. same number of teeth. it took him, get this, TWELVE HOURS before he was eating normally without pain. I'm still pissed T^T

That sounds awful... Actually... I think mouth stuff heals fastest on your body...


I used to have braces and I had one doctor slip up when she was putting the teeny rubber bands on, gouged my gums and I just flipped the fuck out.. XD

Are you getting novocaine, laughing gas, or being put under? I'm a pain wimp, like, ONLY when it comes to breaking teeth, so I got put under to get mine taken out. ;w;

I'm getting FULLY put out, it's funny because the nurse who set up my appointment was going to schedule me for a slot that was just... I guess gassed, I was like.. O.O 'No... I'm getting anesthesia...'

I couldn't imagine doing it awake... but my bro-in-law did @.@

In middle school I had oral surgery that involved cutting squares of my gums out in order to expose teeth for braces 'cos they were still under my gums, and I did that on just novocaine... It didn't hurt, but it was definitely an experience. They had a little heart monitor on my finger. I dunno what that was for. :3

I'm actually back and I got 4 teeth, roots and all 100% intact!
The doctor said he might have to break 2 to extract them, but he got them out in one piece. <3

I'm getting ready for bed now lol, just fiddlin around online till I pass out now heh heh

heur heur heur! that's awesome :D haha :) well at least they got them out withoug breaking them :D

lol and ok XD did they give you knock-out juice?.. i have the feels that when i get mine done i'm gonna fall all over the place XD
