I am sick of Doomsday talk!
I have officially had it with all these "the world will end on December 21, 2012" rumors! It just irks and ires me when people take a belief from an ancient civilization and blow it out of proportion. So in order to qulech any rumors or fears, ol' Randy is here to debunk some of the more common theories that are being spread around in the media.
Theory #1: The Earth will be destroyed by a rogue planet.
Fact: If such an object were headed our way, it would be the brightest object in the sky (after the sun and moon) by now.
Theory #2: A planet called Nibiru will align with Earth and send solar flares in our direction.
Fact: There is no planet called Nibiru.
Theory #3: Geomagnetic Reversal (A phenomenon which would cause a shift in the North and South poles) will occur and would result in numerous terrestrial calamities.
Fact: Such an event would take between 1,000 to 10,000 years to complete, and do not start on any particular date.
So stop worrying! I'm sure when December 21 comes along it'll be just like any other day in our lives. Also, start concerning yourselves with more important issues, like climate change, the holidays, and upcoming furmeets and conventions, to name a few.

But you know those conspiracy theorist types just aren't going to have any of it. You can't even reason with those guys. They believe what they want to believe and you can't convince them otherwise. They are right, you are wrong, and you're an idiot for not "accepting the truth". They said Y2K would bring about the end of the world. They said 6/6/06 would be the date the world ended. October 2011 (I forget what day exactly) would be the day of the rapture. December 21st, 2012 will be the day the world ends. You know what'll happen when the world doesn't end on December 21st? They'll just pick a new date and declare that "Doomsday". Seriously, WHY do people want to know when the world ends? Who on earth wants to know when that'll happen?
