They're also very hard to write. and I have written some threesomes, but any more and it becomes very hard to maintain the narrative equivalent of constantly switching, multiple camera angles such a scene requires. I think the only time we tried to write a foursome, it degenerated into a pair of twosomes, more or less one right after the other.

As for whether or not I'd join in such a thing RL, the answer is most likely no.
