Lessons in Armour Etch
So I'm using Armour Etch for the first time, broadening my horizons and all that nonsense.
A few painstaking hours of carefully cutting out a design with an exacto knife and murdering several pieces of contact paper revealed:
By "thin layer," they mean "thin, in comparison to say, dunking it in a 5 gallon drum." I now have an official "test mug" with varying stages of "NOT THICK ENOUGH" applications.
WEAR GLOVES. WEAR GOGGLES. WEAR A SUIT OF ARMOR. Means hey, please don't sue us if you're an incompetent dumbass and stick the stuff in your eye. It doesn't mean the room is going to fill with noxious vapors, and it doesn't mean the stuff can eat through 72 layers of clothing.
Does not work on plastic, also means only partially works on stuff that looks like glass, feels like glass, but is probably an impostor.
Will try again tomorrow. That was... an adventure!

FA+

It works well on the glass I have with the proper coating. My test mug of fail has one really good execution on it from applying it properly. Going to go at it again Sunday. :D
