College is not the answer for everyone. Some people go to work straight away to factories or plants and you can make good money doing that. I did go to college but dropped out due to lack of funding and I did go back to just working at McDonald's, but what changed my life was getting off my ass and applying. I applied to a casino that was 3 hours away. I got hired at an entry level position on the mere hope of getting a slot or dealer job because I like the casino environment. I got hired so I took whatever would fit in my car and the only money I had was my last paycheck and a few credit cards to live on. I didn't even have a place to stay, but I drove up to start my job and I was able to stay with my sister in her dorm room until I could get approved for a run down apartment in a drug dealer complex. After 6 months, I was accepted into the slot department where my pay more than doubled. During this time I was able to begin using money earned to pay all my bills and still have some left over so I wouldn't have to use my credit cards to live on. Then in 2001 I was accepted into the 8 week dealer school and became a casino dealer. Now I make around 40k a year with no college necessary with a chance to go to other casinos or move up the chain if I wish.

My whole point is that there are many careers and ways to make money that don't require college. My younger brother is on track to make $80,000 this year simply by getting people Instagram followers by using the Fiverr.com website. Some people write apps for phones. What you must do though is just do something. You can't sit back and wait for something to fall into your lap or expect to be living the high life on day one of your career. There's a lot of hard work that goes on behind the scenes and leading up to success that you don't always hear about.

tl;dr (but please do read) Be innovative or copy what is successful and don't be a lazy ass if you want to succeed without college.

well i want to be a mobile dj, this is going to take 3 things, equipment ($$$$$), advertising sense, and there's quite a lot of manual labor, but i don't mind that because i LOVE setting up stuff like that, i just need the equipment and get enough money to make payments on a cheap ass cargo van x3
