darias is actually an early January birthday, but he got lumped into Christmas-birthday as well.

I think there's an end of the world party being put together for dec 21, that's about all I've got on my holiday plate. Good excuse to get together with friends and partake of the booze and merriment.

I must confess, every time someone says how happy they are that they get the next week (or two) off, I find myself quite bitter. TV never sleeps, and so neither can its workers. I work so that others may have time off to spend with their families and loved ones. And that's not a bad thing, really.

And I agree I work almost every holiday for my coworkers. This year I was a bit miffed one lady tried to give me guilt for wanting the first of the year off.
