I never even went to college. Never had the chance. And I never technically finished High School either...left after my 16th birthday cuz I couldn't take the abuse from other students anymore (nobody gave a shit about bullying in the pre-Colombine years...you we're literally told to "just deal with it, it's part of life"...which also sadly, is kind of true to a small degree). But I did get my GED (Good Enough Diploma!)

And now I work as an electrician, fully licensed, carry numerous certifications, live in a spacious apartment, have a good, reliable vehicle, and can afford more than enough food to stuff down my mouth. All on my own, and aside from student loans for trade school, I have no debt.

Do I make a ton of money? no...I still need to commissions to make sure I got gas money to go see my sweety in Michigan for the holiday, but such is life.

My point is, everyone I grew up with thought I was a bum. Figured I'd have been dead in a gutter years ago....now I make just as much, if not more money than alot of those guys.

Yeah...I had to fight for every inch of ground I've gained, and it wasn't easy....still isn't, and probably never will be....but my point is just relax, take a deep breath, and just keep doing the best you can. Your a good guy, your gonna be fine. Just probably not gonna fall in your lap though, and thats okay. Never give up

You know that old saying "don't believe everything you hear,"well you shouldn't believe everything you read. I went through some hard times and had barely anyone because most people hated me and others were to scared for their own reputations. You can't talk like this. I didn't give up, and neither can you damn it! You always have friends to give you a shoulder to cry on. Remember that.

That's not true! I'm sure there are a lot of people out there who have standard GPAs that can get a good job! And please, please, PLEASE don't do anything drastic!

Hun, Youre laying your fate in the cards. Now thats not fair to you and to others. Point being, graduate and then take the steps from there. The world is full of people. Not everyone runs on cold hard numbers, if they did, we wouldnt be people anymore. Why im trying to say is if you believe math is your thing, then do it as best as you can. To the extent that you can handle. Then try for jobs. Remember, eveyone has to start small before they can get to something better. Please dont sell yourself short because I know you have what it takes. Also, sometimes grades arnt everything, remember, actions speak louder than words. Show them you know what youre doing. Just that school wasnt kind to you.

first of all drugs are bad, mkay? and second, don't let some supposed "geniuses" tell you that you can't make it in life just because you got some grades that may even end up being meaningless if you have a certain knack for doing things. My point is don't be put down by the man. Tigerburr power!!! >:3

But as life normally shows, college is kinda pointless. It's just how it is. To get anywhere in life it's who you know, not what you know.
