Second attempt was much more successful. Not PERFECT, but successful. I had to do some manual touch-ups on the glass, but overall, they look pretty good, if a bit splotchy and rough in places. I'll put them up AFTER the holidays, as some of the recipients are around here somewhere.

I hope to improve over my next few pieces... and if I do, I can totally sell aershaa etched-glass mugs. The actual material cost is dirt cheap, it's just time consuming with the exacto cutting and drawing of the actual design and transferring onto glass.

Sewing machine self-review and lessons tonight. I got the Brother as an early gift for myself to speed things along. It's so sexy. @_@ But I'm a real winner with getting the thread tangled...
