I do it to help offset the jerks that complain about not winning, it is simultaneously a gratz to the winner and, by proxy, a thank you to the artist holding the raffle for giving me the opportunity. I might not have won this time, but there will be other raffles, either by the same artists (if they feel like doing it more) or by other artists.
