But yea, I agree on the lack of species comment. I would just modify the furry cover into other creature's ears...
Would be awesome if they made a matching electronic brain wave controlled tail, I would never take it off

Now if they only made a long complex feline type tail that can curl around your body, or curl in a sassy 's' shape...but hey the tail shown above is a good start.
Too doggish for my taste though...
