Scariest work of fiction? Marble Hornets. Absolutely terrifying. Real life scared? Went parasailing, on a particularly windy day thought the entire time I was going to die >_<

I usually know when I hit my toes on things, although I've broken off my pinkie toenail before, blood and all, without realizing it for an hour or two

Yes. Back when I lived in California, a house not far from us had a gas leak that got sparked, the place was gutted and no one lived there for years after.
