Potential Zoo Meet (meeting at a zoo) Update

According to the Austin Zoo website, starting January 1st the price of a group visit will be $6 per person. It's a bit confusing due to the way the sentence was structured, but either that price only applies to groups of 15 or more, or having 15 or more means I need to schedule in advanced. Either way, I think it would be best to get at least 15 furs interested before making any further plans.

well, this would be my first attempt at organizing a furmeet, so I don't have anything concrete yet, but basically I want to try to get at least 15 furs to go as a group to the Austin Zoo for... nothing in particular really, the zoo just could benefit from the business. There's a petting zoo, a train, and a lot of animals to look at. People could take pictures, draw animals, feed (certain) animals, maybe donate to the zoo (there's donation boxes everywhere), sign up for volunteer work (completely optional, of course), and generally just hang out. The gift shop is nice too.

I may be interested but I don't know if I'll be in Austin for sure. But if I do stay in Austin, that might be a nice way to meet people. I'm super shy so I will need to find friends. So, I guess that's a maybe.

I would love to go! and school doesn't start until the 14th so two weeks of possible fun besides work.
